Changes in Texas State Trap Due to New Mandates

June 24, 2020 By Sherry Kerr

Due to Governor Abbott’s latest proclamation allowing county and city governments jurisdiction over gatherings of 100 or more and the announcement by the City of San Antonio and Bexar County that a mandate restricting said gatherings will be issued (official mandate pending), the National Shooting Complex regretfully has to withdraw as host location for the Texas State Trap Shoot as a whole.

In support of the TTA decision to continue with the state shoot as a telephonic/satellite shoot, the NSC will serve as a host site. Due to the pending mandate by San Antonio and Bexar County, attendance at the NSC will have to be limited to 100 on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested in attending the satellite State Trap Shoot at the National Shooting Complex, please contact Amber Schwarz at aschwarz@nssa-nsca.com or 210-254-1523 to reserve a position.

Shoot format will be 100 each Singles, Handicap and Doubles on Friday, July 3, 200 Championship Singles on Saturday, July 4, and 100 Championship Doubles followed by 100 Championship Handicap on Sunday, July 5.

All normal amenities such as RV sites, ammo, practice, carts, etc. will be available at the NSC.
