We earlier passed along information about an NSSA employee who was diagnosed with COVID-19. We’re pleased to provide an update. After initial notification this morning, he contacted his medical provider again this afternoon and was updated that he was NOT positive for COVID-19 but for the common flu.
In spite of the earlier misinformation he was given, we hope you share our pleasure in this excellent news.
We encourage you to be vigilant with social distancing practices to keep you and your family safe. Note that COVID-19 affects all age groups, and social distancing guidelines are for the health and welfare of everyone. Please do not congregate in groups or large gatherings, and follow the instructions of local, state, and federal officials. An excellent source of information is the CDC website, where you can learn more about the disease, how to recognize symptoms, how to stay safe and how to keep your loved ones safe.
